To Sign On As A Ghost:
1. Click Setup On the Buddy List Window.
2. Click on Privacy Preferences.
3. Click on 'Block all AOL members and AOL Instant Messenger users".
4. Under "Apply Prefrences to the following Features:"
choose "Apply to Instant Messages and Buddy List".
5. Click Save, close the box and your  "Ghosting".

To type in the middle of the line:
First press and hold then ALT next type"0160" on the numeric pad , and then press space about 10-20-30 times (depends where you want your message to start), type your message then press enter.

To clone someone in a chat room:
This is a very simple trick, to do it though, you need to be on the Master Screen Name of your account. The Master Screen Name is the first name you chose when you first signed up for your account. This cloning method is done by substituting a letter of someone's Screen Name with another letter that looks identical to the original. The two letters that can be used are a capitol I and a lowercase L. If you type them, somewhere on AOL, you will notice they look exactly the same. So, find a person who you want to clone, lets says there Screen Name is Maleknia (MaLeknia). You would make a Screen Name of MaIeknia (Maieknia), substituting the lowercase L with the upper case i. To create a Screen Name, go to Keyword: Names then double click on Create a Screen Name.

Kill Wait:
This is a really cool trick if you hate when that stupid hourglass sign stops you from doing anything. Just click on "Help" 3 times (quickly). Then click on "About AOL", then click "OK". Cool, huh? The only thing is, if you try to execute a large command before the first one is done with, AOL may freeze.

Host Command 1:
Type "=q" in the chat box (without the quotation marks). Nobody but you can see the message.

Host Command 2:
Type "//" in the chat box (without the quotation marks). Again, nobody but you will see the message.

Members Room Bust:
Go to a room, click " >List Chats"< click "Member Rooms", click "Find Room" by " Name", then type the room name of the room you want to bust into, click find, highlight the room, and hold enter. This doesn't kick anyone out of the room, instead it tries to enter the room at a VERY fast rate, and it get the next available space in the room. The number of tries per second/minute depends on your connection.

Private Room Bust:
1. Go to Favorite Places, click Add Favorite Places, for the Place Description type the room name, for the Internet Site Address: aol://2719:2-2-"Room Name" (change Room-Name with the name of the Private Room you want to go to).
2. You can also click on the Go To< menu, Edit Go To menu, pick a slot. In the slot type aol://2719:2-2-"Room Name". Then afterwards Press Ctrl and the # slot you chose, repeatedly.
3. You can send a link to yourself if you are signed on as a guest. To send a link to yourself, type in an IM <a href="aol://2719:2-2-Room Name">Text </a>.

To type blank lines:
First press and hold SPACE then press and hold ALT. Next type " 0160" on the numeric pad<, and press enter. *Note* Make sure your Num. Lock is on.

To Read A Link:
This is a good trick if you are suspicious that someone id giving you a link that will freeze your puter or a porn link you don't want. Highlight the link press Ctrl+C then Ctrl+N then Ctrl+V. Double click on the blue letters and it will tell you the URL.
